Last updated: 28 June 2026
This policy explains how FAAFO UK Creative Solutions Ltd (company number 15563145) ("FAAFO", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit https://faafo.uk or get in touch with us. We are committed to handling your data responsibly and keeping collection to the minimum we need.
Who we are
FAAFO UK Creative Solutions Ltd (company number 15563145) is the data controller responsible for your personal data in connection with this website. We are a company registered in England and Wales.
Registered office: 5 Brayford Square, London, E1 0SG, United Kingdom.
If you have any questions about this policy or how we use your data, email us at hey@faafo.uk.
The personal data we collect
We only collect what we need. Depending on how you use the site, this may include:
- Enquiry details: when you complete the enquiry form we collect your name, email address, and any phone number, company name, project information (such as budget and timeline) and message you choose to provide.
- Newsletter sign up: your email address and the fact that you have consented to receive our newsletter.
- Usage and device data: where you consent to analytics cookies, information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, pages viewed and how you interact with the site.
- Technical and security data: information our hosting provider records to keep the site running and secure, such as IP address and request logs.
How we use your data and our legal bases
Under UK data protection law we must have a legal basis for using your personal data. We rely on the following:
- Responding to your enquiry and preparing a quote or proposal — legal basis: our legitimate interests in dealing with enquiries about our services, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- Sending you our newsletter — legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Measuring and improving how the site performs — legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner.
- Keeping our records, and protecting the site against fraud and misuse — legal basis: our legitimate interests, and compliance with our legal obligations.
Providing your data is voluntary
You do not have to give us any personal data to browse this site. Where we ask for it — for example in the enquiry or newsletter form — providing it is voluntary. The fields marked as required are the minimum we need to act on your request, so if you do not provide them we may not be able to respond to your enquiry or add you to the newsletter.
Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions about you by solely automated means, and we do not carry out profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use a small number of them. When you first visit, we ask whether you accept non-essential cookies. Essential cookies are always on because the site cannot work properly without them; everything else is only set after you give consent.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, and you can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The cookies we use are:
- Essential — faafo_cookie_consent (set by FAAFO): remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask on every visit. Lasts up to 6 months.
- Analytics (only with consent) — _ga and _ga_* (set by Google Analytics): help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Last up to 2 years.
- Third party (only with consent) — Trustpilot may set cookies when our reviews widget loads, so it can display reviews and prevent abuse.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data or share it for third party marketing. We do use trusted providers to run the site and our communications. They only process data on our instructions, under contracts that protect it:
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery.
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) — sending and storing enquiry emails, our enquiry records and our newsletter.
- Google Analytics — website analytics (only if you accept analytics cookies).
- Trustpilot — collecting and displaying customer reviews.
- Cal.com (cal.eu) — our booking and scheduling tool. If you click “Book a call”, you are taken to Cal.com, which handles any details you submit there under its own privacy notice.
International transfers
Some of our providers are based outside the UK. Where your data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK law — such as UK adequacy regulations, the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Standard Contractual Clauses — so your data stays protected.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it:
- Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case we keep it for the duration of our relationship and our legal record keeping.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
- Analytics: in aggregated or pseudonymised form, typically up to 14 months.
- Records we must keep by law (for example for tax and accounting): usually up to 6 years.
How we protect your data
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your data secure, including encrypted connections, access controls and working with reputable providers. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data. You can ask us to:
- access a copy of the data we hold about you;
- correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your data, or restrict how we use it;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
- receive certain data in a portable format; and
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
How to complain
To exercise any of your rights, email hey@faafo.uk and we will respond within the time limits set by law. If you are not happy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
